Vogliamo dedicare questo articolo a Christian Tito, poeta di rara sensibilità, che ha fortemente voluto l’antologia La nostra classe sepolta, ma non ha potuto vederne la pubblicazione. La sua voce ha ancora molto da donarci.
Mi fa particolarmente piacere inaugurare questa rubrica ospitando non una, ma tante voci: quelle presenti nella bella antologia curata da Valeria Raimondi, dal titolo “La nostra classe sepolta”, edita dalla casa editrice Pietre Vive nell’aprile 2019. Si tratta di un progetto forte, necessario, che dà la parola a chi sperimenta ogni giorno, sulla propria pelle, le asperità di ambienti e condizioni lavorative che mortificano la vita: alienazione, sfruttamento, precarietà, mancato riconoscimento di diritti. Nodi e tematiche purtroppo nient’affatto risolti nella società del terzo millennio, a dispetto di tante nuove consapevolezze e innumerevoli battaglie, nelle quali anche l’arte ha offerto e offre il proprio contributo.
L’opera nasce infatti da un’esigenza precisa, quella di “testimoniare il lavoro attraverso la poesia” (dalla prefazione di Raimondi), disegnando “una sorta di mappa della poesia del lavoro in Italia in chiave attuale”. Ben oltre il valore documentaristico dell’opera -da non sottovalutare, peraltro- questa antologia aspira a ricucire lo strappo tra la parola evocativa, l’immaginazione da un lato e la volontà di incidere sulla realtà dall’altro, “senza tradire il linguaggio dell’arte e senza svuotare di forza la pratica politica”. Vengono compiute pertanto “scelte stilistiche ben precise, guidate dal desiderio che l’azione-parola sia praticata dentro i luoghi di lavoro o laddove si tocchino i nervi scoperti dello sfruttamento”, ben sapendo che “la dimensione lavorativa è per molte persone una tragedia quotidiana”. Impegno civile e tensione artistica si coniugano in un progetto che dà spazio “a chi avesse già una produzione dedicata al tema, ma anche a chi, per necessità, avesse scritto poesie dai luoghi del lavoro” o a coloro che sono “impegnati in realtà culturali, politiche, associative presenti sul territorio nazionale” (sempre dalla prefazione della curatrice).
L’antologia è divisa in tre sezioni: Il pane quotidiano, con le testimonianze di vita; Homo Aeconomicus, sul senso del lavoro e la riflessione sull’alienazione versus la nobilitazione; Colata continua, per parlare di morti sul e di lavoro.
Il vissuto del lavoratore che ne emerge è complesso, dalle molte sfaccettature: è meccanicistica prigione in Francesca Del Moro (Jobs Haiku “La vita esatta/ La corsa della cavia dentro la gabbia”), in Claudia Zironi (“Il giorno che hanno dipinto di blu/ le lamiere del capannone accanto/ c’era un’aria tersa, un cielo estivo:/ ti sei girata all’improvviso e /hai visto il mare”), in Fouad Lakehlal (“Alluminio fuso./Tuta di amianto./ Forno a Settecento./ Io c’ero dentro”). É profonda delusione, rinuncia al sogno di una vita serena, dignitosa in Fabio Franzini e nei suoi bellissimi testi in veneto (Marta: ”tuta ‘na vita persa a gratàr, /a gratarse via dal corpo ‘a beézha” e Compleàno. “ Come che pòsse dirghe che poesia ghin vede senpre manco/ te ‘sto mondo de squai e de pòri sciavi?”), in Mario Durmishi, nei toccanti versi da canto popolare di Mario Archetti. E’ constatazione di monotono scorrere di giorni, senza colore e apparentemente senza senso, in Lucianna Argentino (“Ma ecco/ ora è questo l’ombra, questo stare nell’affanno del fiato,/ nella me stessa di cui si spartiscono le vesti/ cose adiacenti al nulla”). É infine amara consapevolezza dei rischi e preannuncio di morte in Francesco Zannoncelli e in Alessandro Silva, nella sua potente Slopping I.
Un contributo importante, quello de “La nostra classe sepolta”, che si colloca nell’alveo della poesia civile che sa ancora parlare di lavoro (e il pensiero va a Dino Campana, Elio Pagliarani, Luigi Di Ruscio, Ferruccio Brugnaro o, in tempi più recenti, a Maria Grazia Calandrone e al giovane Antonio Lanza, nonché ai due collaboratori della curatrice, ossia Luca Bassi Andreasi e Francesca Del Moro, solo per citare alcuni nomi); una tensione, secondo alcuni, fiacca o morente, in un mondo distratto e anestetizzato, dove opere come queste stanno invece a testimoniarne la vitalità e la validità. É un mondo, quello attuale, poco disposto ad ascoltare la voce dei poeti e il loro richiamo di verità; ma, come ci ricorda Christian Tito nel testo di apertura, “non importa se voi non leggete le poesie/ perché sarà la poesia a leggervi tutti”.

D: Cosa ci dice di quest’opera il suo titolo, peraltro molto suggestivo?
R: La prima parte del titolo di questa antologia, frutto di una scelta condivisa con l’editore Antonio Lillo di Pietre Vive, richiama un verso di Luigi di Ruscio: “noi che viviamo anche per rappresentare tutti quelli che sono morti/ sino a che rimarrà uno solo la sconfitta non è ancora avvenuta/ sino a quando rimarranno le nostre pagine/ non la rosa sepolta ma la nostra classe sepolta/ siamo nel caos prima della creazione del verbo”. Per Luigi di Ruscio, presenza che sorvola l’intera raccolta e che abbiamo voluto omaggiare con questo titolo, il mondo del lavoro è senz’altro la materia prima della condizione personale, nonostante egli non si consideri solo un poeta-operaio (come sbrigativamente si è detto tante volte) ma un poeta capace di introiettare, trasformare e rievocare la condizione umana tutta. Questa dovrebbe essere anche la funzione del poeta civile, non un’etichetta, dunque, ma una scrittura di volta in volta necessaria. Il titolo richiama immediatamente ad una lotta (e ad una sconfitta) dei protagonisti del mondo del lavoro, di quel mondo che fino a qualche tempo prima abitava per sua natura un’unica Classe, che ora è stata sepolta.
Di Ruscio, tuttavia, ci lascia in eredità un’idea di lotta politica irriducibile, ancora praticabile e reale: siamo nella creazione prima del caos, quindi siamo ancora a costruire qualcosa come lotta viva, solo momentaneamente indistinta, sepolta sì, ma non arresa.
Nel sottotitolo i mondi del lavoro, al plurale, si contrappongono al singolare Classe. Non un mondo omogeneo per caratteristiche, declinazioni e appartenenze riconoscibili e riconosciute: la precarietà, il ricatto della delocalizzazione, la riduzione del ruolo pubblico dell’economia hanno lasciato i lavoratori e le lavoratrici soli, ognuno con sé stesso e con la sua particolare e solitaria condizione.Cronache perché, citando la postfazione di Alberto Mori: …spesso, non siamo di fronte a versi oppure a prosimetri veri e propri, ma ad interrogazioni, in scrittura, delle proprie urgenze esistenziali, laddove le forme e le costruzioni sono sempre esplicite e tengono la lettura tra incudine e martello: forgiano, mettono in opera quello che sono in relazione all’oggetto... Come dire che sono proprio i versi, più di qualsiasi altra forma della parola, quelli in grado di cogliere gli attuali caratteri di precarietà, frammentarietà, paura e alienazione: i segni lasciati da questi scritti sono anch’essi frammenti e documenti efficacemente lanciati con rabbia e dolore, atti d’accusa e denuncia.
Dunque le testimonianze rilasciate dagli autori/trici sono quelle di testimoni a conoscenza dei fatti, dentro lo stesso ingranaggio oppure fuori, a rifiutarlo, o anche a raccontarne la trasformazione: la produzione sul nastro di montaggio (L. Bassi Andreasi) o il forno con l’alluminio fuso che ingoia lo stesso complice lavoratore (F. Lakeal), o l’altro, diverso eppure simile, osservato dalla postazione della cassa di un supermarket (L. Argentino). Ma come ancora dirà Mori… che cos’è la parola per un lavoratore? Gesto di sussistenza, spesso vera e propria sopravvivenza primaria; azione della parola soprattutto. Ma se questa azione non entra in patto concreto, il diritto perché sia considerata tale è già prosciolto ed asimmetrico. Allora bisogna testimoniare. Dire. Esserci per non essere cancellati e, nella sparizione, divenire pretesto per coloro che sono sempre presenti nei mezzi di produzione decisionale del lavoro.Il sottotitolo rivela anche l’intenzione di mettere sullo stesso piano i diversi protagonisti senza distinzioni di età, riconoscimenti, linguaggi utilizzati.
D: Com’è stato accolto e vissuto questo progetto da chi ne è stato coinvolto?
R:Grazie per la domanda che mi consente di dire della genesi di questo progetto.
L’idea prende origine da una serie di “occasioni”: la necessità, la volontà, il desiderio di fare il punto, anche dopo alcuni percorsi personali, sullo stato della produzione poetica contemporanea allo scopo di recuperare un po’ di tessuto nell’eterna frattura tra arte e impegno. Ma non secondaria è stata l’uscita, nel 2016, di due raccolte che, gettando luce in una certa direzione, mi hanno costretta a seguirla.
Ho lanciato così un appello ai lavoratori, lavoratrici, precari e disoccupati prima ancora che agli artisti: intendo con ciò sottolineare l’orizzontalità di tale progetto dove non vien distinto ciò che è alto da ciò che potrebbe non essere considerato tale. Questo non significa che la poesia, lo stile, il linguaggio ne abbiano fatto le spese. Significa che tutto il lavoro di cura è stato svolto con molta attenzione (questo lo ribadisco consapevole di alcuni limiti). Cura per la parola, certo, ma anche per le intenzioni. Di volta in volta ho scelto cosa valesse la pena valorizzare e spesso, vista la natura della raccolta, è stata l’esigenza di verità ad avere la meglio, non per dovere di cronaca ma piuttosto per “dovere di poesia”. Hanno risposto soggetti diversi tra loro per genere, occupazione, provenienza ed esperienze.
Anche le diverse scritture mostrano tali discrepanze e differenti punti di vista, una narrazione che attraverso versi di volta in volta graffianti, ironici, drammatici e lirici, racconta il precariato, le lotte dimenticate, le vittime del lavoro. Perciò qui non si parla solo di lavoro ma, via via che le poesie (non i poeti) vengono raccolte, quasi imprevedibilmente emergerà altro: che è in atto la compromissione del tempo libero oltre che del tempo lavorativo (che viene occupato dalla redazione di curricoli, da colloqui, da lavoretti, da tentativi di rientrare nel mercato); che tuttora la società riconosce l’individuo associandolo alla mansione sociale; che vale ancora rivendicare l’autodeterminazione del proprio tempo di vita; che lo scontro tra poveri (come accade dal conflitto orizzontale contro i migranti dei campi) può collocarsi proprio dentro questo imbarbarimento. Si renderà necessario ad un certo punto introdurre dopo la sezione Pane Quotidiano (le cronache dirette dai luoghi del lavoro) e Homo Aeconomicus (atto d’accusa verso il lavoro come alienazione), una terza sezione di testi, Colata Continua, dedicata alle morti sul lavoro e ai danni all’ambiente nella quale si pone l’accento sulla reificazione dell’uomo: l’oggetto vale più della sicurezza e la salute meno della sopravvivenza economica obbligando dunque ad una scelta che tale non può definirsi.Perciò ho chiesto ad ognuno di introdurre i propri testi con una citazione, una breve riflessione, una sorta di chiave di lettura.
La raccolta si apre con i testi di Christian Tito il quale rappresenta la congiunzione tra la poesia storica di Luigi Di Ruscio e il tema oggi più attuale, quello della precarietà. Ma ospita anche Ferruccio Brugnaro, non con un suo scritto (nonostante le sue rabbiose testimonianze rappresentino, nel metodo e nella direzione, un messaggio per tutti) ma con un’immagine che generosamente mi donò tempo addietro: un volantino “ciclostinato” del 1969 per la proclamazione di uno sciopero alla Chatillon di Mestre, che riporta in calce una poesia dello stesso. Ma soprattutto l’antologia contiene alcuni poeti che hanno fatto del lavoro e dello sfruttamento la materia principale della propria poetica: Francesco Tomada, lo stesso C.Tito, Fabio Franzin, Francesca del Moro, solo per citarne alcuni. Franzin, unico poeta dialettale presente nel libro, racconta una fabbrica diversa: la fabbrichetta del Nordest nella quale si vive gomito a gomito senza essere compagni, nella tragicità dell’individualismo. Il progetto ospita anche due cantautori-poeti la cui produzione artistica ha già affrontato, in maniera consapevole e anche qui prevalente, la materia del Lavoro. Si è cercato in qualche modo di costruire un paesaggio complessivo e variegato.
Ho cercato di condividere con gli autori tutti gli intenti e i passaggi ma progettualmente e idealmente alcune scelte sono state sostenute da alcuni compagni di viaggio. Altre ed altri si sono presi invece l’impegno della diffusione e organizzazione di iniziative collegate all’antologia e alla sua vocazione politica, mentre altri ancora hanno proposto nuove modalità e interscambi. Un aspetto non secondario è stato condividere con un gruppo di poeti della stessa area geografica la costruzione di incontri, ogni volta diversi in contesti diversi, con contaminazioni video o musicali. Normalmente ognuno di loro durante i reading o le presentazioni sceglie di leggere autori non presenti.
Ciò è in continuità con quanto cerco di fare da un decennio, ossia cercare la sinergia, l’aiuto, la condivisione con realtà sociali e politiche esterne ai movimenti poetici.
D: Come si coniugano fare poetico ed agire politico nel disegno di questa iniziativa?
R: Per quanto mi riguarda ho sempre cercato di comprendere e poi di risolvere in qualche modo la frattura tra poesia e vita, arte e impegno, tra ciò che nobilita e ciò che mobilita.
Ho cercato di trovare il modo per consentire alla lingua-linguaggio poetici di raccontare un mondo che si è ribaltato nel corso di pochissimi anni, attribuendole così anche la funzione di rivolta civile, ma facendolo oltre gli slogan, le analisi, il troppo pensiero o la morale ideologica.
Direi che si manifesta l’occasione per ripensare alla poesia come qualcosa che ci riguarda di qualsiasi cosa o argomento si occupi! Oggi nel tritatutto che ha ingoiato valori, idee, parole e significati, sono finite anche le intenzioni e le regole dell’ispirazione e produzione poetica: al poeta tocca decidere in quale posizione collocarsi. Il poeta traduce sempre anche il frastuono del suo tempo, ma oggi dovrà scegliere se replicarlo nell’effimero di una cultura di massa, oppure ricordare che, di qualsiasi contenuto si tratti, la poesia sorge pur sempre come mistero, come parola stupefacente, senza tradire il proprio linguaggio, come scrivo nella prefazione.
Questa antologia, tengo a ribadirlo, rimane una raccolta in versi, curata stilisticamente nonostante la presa diretta sull’attualità. Diciamo che questa antologia lascia senza risposta un interrogativo: -che fare?- Ossia fotografa uno stato, non indica soluzioni, dunque non rappresenta un processo o un percorso finale e finito, piuttosto, un punto di inizio.
È stato detto: “l’ultima sezione non è ancora scritta, riguarda il futuro e la riconquista della sua nobiltà. È una visione che non concede arresti, che invita a raccogliere le forze: non sprecare un attimo di vita, non abbassare la guardia, non abbassare la testa“.
Esistono già, prima di questa, antologie sul Lavoro dove però non vengono raccolte scritture esclusivamente poetiche. Inoltre, ospitano, tra gli altri, poeti della generazione precedente per la quale il lavoro, con tutto il suo corredo di sfruttamento, è dato per certo, per un tempo e in condizioni indeterminati, e non con il carattere attuale di precarietà e scomposizione di una intera classe (come ci dice Eliana Como che non a caso ho coinvolto nell’introduzione politica).
Mi auguro questa raccolta divenga strumento nelle mani o per sostenere le lotte di lavoratori e lavoratrici, in una ri-creazione o in commistione con i linguaggi che le caratterizzano.Si tratta quindi di voler dare una risposta all’inefficacia di certa poesia civile e uno stimolo creativo al mondo politico e sindacale. Si tratta, infine, di un desiderio piuttosto comune: parlare degli esseri umani agli esseri umani, comprendere che la tragedia riguarda il cittadino globale e dunque si abbatte su ognuno di noi, sulle disillusioni, sui sogni, sull’umanità mancata, sulla relazione con l’altro e la natura. Insomma, non si può più agire da soli né nella vita né nell’arte; unirsi significa rimettersi al centro. L’augurio è che il progetto letterario possa coincidere con una pratica politica di lotta e rinascita.
Alcuni inediti sono ospitati in Distanze, Fara ed., ed alcune invettive nella Gazzetta dei Dipartimenti del Collage de ‘Pataphysique. Un suo testo è “intro” dell’album musicale dei DUNK.
Una decina di testi inediti vengono tradotti nel 2018 in lingua portoghese e presentati a San Paolo del Brasile. Con Donne A(t)traverso propone un recital narrativo sulle origini della violenza di genere. Nel 2011 esce la silloge poetica Io no (ex-io) e nel 2014, Debito il Tempo, opera vincitrice del Premio Eros e Kaìros, entrambe ripubblicate con Pellicano ed.
Nel 2019 La nostra classe sepolta, cronache poetiche dai mondi del lavoro, Pietre Vive ed., raccoglie una selezioni di testi in versi, di lavoratori e lavoratrici distribuiti su tutto il territorio nazionale. Tra marzo e giugno 2020 scrive alcuni articoli sull’emergenza CoVid in Lombardia per i blog Carmilla, Social rights, Critica Impura e per MicroMega.
